An incredible 4.5 cm rich blue, well-terminated Afghanite crystals beautifully situated on contrasting white matrix. The crystals are lustrous, fluorescent, and still a rare member of the feldspathoid mineral group. The color of these crystals is outstanding, with a rare and distinctive shape. This beautiful, razor-sharp crystal possesses magnificent color, remarkable shape, an intense blue hue, excellent form, very good luster, and a sharp termination. While at the bottom large crystal is reattached (repaired), the display remains truly amazing. The distinguished aesthetics and impact of this specimen truly set it apart. It’s worth noting that this is the type of locality for Afghanites. This piece is one of the finest and most astonishing examples we’ve come across. The combination of color and geometry contributes to its beauty. A remarkable specimen with exceptional quality and aesthetics, a must-have for serious collectors who appreciate complete matrix specimens.
