This stunning Heliodor crystal is one of the region’s finest and most remarkable specimens. A true floater, it boasts a magnificent color and exceptional luster, making it an outstanding collector’s piece. Measuring 5.3 cm in length and weighing 224 grams, this brilliant crystal is entirely gemmy and flawless, with no damage whatsoever.

The crystal’s color leans toward the greenish-yellow spectrum, creating a truly mesmerizing effect. One of its most striking features is its perfectly sharp termination, which showcases an incredible level of precision and refinement. All crystal faces are smooth and contact-induced, not damaged, further enhancing its pristine quality.

This is a classic, gemmy, and highly attractive golden-yellow Heliodor, complete all around and in terrific condition. Beryl crystals of this caliber are rarely seen today, except in Ukraine, making this a scarce find.

Heliodor is a variety of Beryl recognized by its yellow, greenish-yellow, or golden-yellow hues. While pure Beryl is colorless, trace amounts of iron within its crystal structure give Heliodor its distinctive coloration.

With its exceptional clarity and rich color, high-quality Heliodor is often cut into stunning gemstones. Its Mohs hardness of 7.5 to 8 makes it highly durable and suitable for use in rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and other fine jewelry.

A truly breathtaking specimen, this is a standout piece in any fine mineral collection!
